World Down Syndrome Day
WIRG got to show off their socks at practice tonight. Why socks?
World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated on 3/21, because it represents 3 copies of the 21st chromosome. Most people have 2 copies, the specially picked ones get an extra one. 😊 If you look at the chromosome it looks like crazy socks.
We'd love to see your socks, too!
